In a recent conversation with Ranald, he informed me that bottling should take place later this month, and that it should be avaliable for purchase sometime in September.

Will they be available through the on-line shop? If so, when?

Hi Pete,

How is the availabillty in the netherlands? New bottlings are very hard to find. A longrow 1996 is 4 months later available here than is UK and Germany. My favorite shop www.Whiskykoning.nl haven't got any information from his distributor.
Where can i buy the newest bottles??

best regards
Bram

Hi,

Both products will go on the website on Friday 8th September. They will also be widely available in Holland, however you have to give our distributors the chance to get the products through all the administration each country requires. Its taken 10 years to make, so surely another month or two won't make much difference Wink

Hi Ranald,

Yes you made your point. But sometimes i am a bit inpatient. I wondered how the difference between Germay and Holland emerged. It seems that shops in Germany can offer Springbank product sooner than the Dutch can.

Thanx anyway for your fast reply

Bram

Hi Bram

In my opinion it's not a question of the shops it's a question when the importer of each country make his orders. For the moment I can't find the news bottles on the Swiss market too. But as former Salesmanger of the importeur in Switzerland I known how the process go's on.
Kind regards

Willy

Hi Willy,

I think you are right. Perhaps a point of attention for Springbank to keep their importers active on their market. Maybe the distributorship must be for whisky-specialistst. (the cadenhead shop?). I doubt if whisky is really important for wine-distributors.

Beste regards
Bram
